Painting: Shade Garden

Vivian Edwards: “This painting captures the peaceful beauty of what was once a beloved shade garden, visible from the living room and thriving beneath the canopy of two towering trees. Over time, though, the loss of these trees transformed the garden, and the shade-loving plants had to find new homes, unable to flourish in the now-sunny space. The fairy angel statue, a thoughtful birthday gift from my mom, holds a special place on the front porch for now, awaiting her move to a new shade garden by the creek. The small “Mom’s Garden” sign, a cherished gift from my daughter, will also find a place in the new garden, where the story of cherished gifts and fond memories will continue to grow.”
